Today the Internet is everywhere, or so it seems. Yet for many of us it is still a complete mystery. Seeing Internet addresses in advertisements or on the news, with all their dots and slashes, can be confusing and for some, even totally meaningless. Plus there is the whole world that is opened up by the WWW - a world that many people know nothing about.

What is the solution?

WangNET is well aware of the issues, and has a solution. In conjunction with The Centre, WangNET is offering courses in the Internet basics. No-one need be embarrassed - everyone in the class will be an Internet novice, so you can all feel comfortable that everyone is in the same boat. Then you can start to see what everyone else is talking about!

The classes will cover the basics of getting connected, understanding email, what website addresses mean, how to browse the web, and the pitfalls to avoid. There will also be instruction on how to choose the right Internet services for you.

WangNET and other providers will also be offering some free services to course participants to help get you started.

To find out more, contact The Centre on 03 5721 0200.

If you have any friends that might benefit from this course, please let them know!
